Possible Future Projects
There are 1,227 people and companies listed in the credits of Pirates of the Carribean. It also cost $140 million to make. Even South Park needs 68 people and 170 computers to make their show. We have a two-cat production team and only two computers - one reason why it often takes us weeks or months to finish individual episodes. We need lots more cats and computers - our goal is to eventually be able to release a new episode every week!

Here are some possible projects, in no particular order, that we'd like to produce if we get funding to continue The Pinky Show.

Disappearing Palestine Everyone's heard of Palestinians, but why can't Pinky find Palestine on the map? Where'd it go? Pinky does the research and lays her findings out in the simplest, clearest terms possible. Important information for anyone who wants to understand the Middle East better. |

| Sex and War While doing research about World War II, Pinky stumbles across many photographs of sexy girls painted on military aircraft. Then while watching the film Apocalypse Now Pinky is fascinated by the scene of the Playboy bunnies dancing for U.S. servicemen. Reviewing photos from the war in Iraq and Afghanistan reveals lots of images of U.S. soldiers surrounded by pin-ups and pornography. The list goes on and on. What is the connection - symbolically, psychologically, politically - between these 'sexy pictures' and war? And how is this related to the actual experiences of women during times of war? |
